Located in Newport, Rhode Island, Touro Synagogue is the first and oldest in North America, dating back to 1763. Designed by Peter Harrison, it remains a symbol of Jewish heritage and religious freedom. Declared a National Historic Landmark in 1946, it is the only synagogue from the colonial era still in operation today.
